Thoughts: So I think I’m technologically cursed right now. The curse of threes, I hope this means I’m done with the curse now. 1. I lost my cell phone…and with it all my numbers, cool ring tones and photos. 2. The battery in the van died. I had to buy a new one. I was not happy. 3. The “new” laptop died. I don’t mean it needs a new battery, apparently the screen is dead along with at least one or two other things. Thankfully I had Steph’s old one set nicely aside…and I’m on it now. Thank the stars for family. : )
Onto better things: Action: I’ve been hanging with Sanny. She popped up on Saturday…and a quick trip to fax something to Japan, and pick up some coffee for me, morphed into some pretty good shopping. She ended up buying a blazer and I think four or five shirts. They totally rock! We went grocery shopping after clothes shopping and I made shrimp stir fry…that didn’t turn out too badly if I do say so myself.
Sunday we slept in and lazed about the house for about half the day then in a flurry of activity, went to San Jose. Sanny got her eyebrows waxed (they’re beautimus) AND her hair cut. It looks really good! From there we went to our favorite breakfast place and feasted on pigs in a blanket. I dropped Sanny off at Recycle books for a couple of hours while I attempted to buy rice for mom and run an errand or two. I picked her up from Starbucks when she was done at the book store and we went to Whole–Food-a-palooza. Sanny got all the food groups, sugar, sugar & sugar…and I contributed with some sugar. I think after that we just headed home, watched Lyrics and Music and called it a night. This morning we hung out for a bit before I had to get ready for work. We plan on getting together on Wednesday when I’m going to see Josanne to get my hair done.
Plans: Since Sanny doesn’t know when she’ll have online access and is currently busy with trying to get packed up to move abroad for 1-3 years, I’ve decided to try keeping this blog alive with once a week posts (read TRY). So, here I go… : ) Wish me luck…and feel free to drop in a post it whenever the mood strikes.
