I’ve been really stepping up the design stuff at work lately. I even took my break yesterday to walk a customer over to Michael’s next door to look at invitation ideas. I’m designing and printing the save the date cards and bridal shower invitations. I’m also designing three forms for a customer and doing a menu and business card design for another customer. Guess my decision to go back to school for design triggered something out there. I also bought three design related books. One is a book that I’ve had my eye on for YEARS. : ) I finally justified the cost since I plan on making a career out of it. : )
Last night I got domestic and baked chocolate/white cake cupcakes…each cupcake being half and half like black and white cookies. I frosted them with milk chocolate frosting and sprinkled dots on top. : )
I found out that carocaro is coming up for a visit in a couple of weeks (woo!) and even got sanny to hammer down some dates for her trip. Now we’re all just waiting on wildlifer…which reminds me. Sanny is leaving the 25? 26th or so of July…so if your visit is after that…you’ll miss her. : ( Just the info.
Even though it’s more than six months away, I’m getting very excited about going back to school! Woo!
